Lisa Gallagher is a filmmaker and sound designer from New Jersey.  Having always been interested in film and audio, she took video tech and radio broadcasting classes in high school; radio broadcasting being what encouraged her to earn her Bachelors degree in Music Production. After getting into Music Production, she found she was more passionate about film. She then decided to continue on to earn her Masters degree in Film Production from Full Sail University. Since she had a background with music and sound editing, she brought that knowledge with her when getting into film. This helped her land the role of sound mixer on multiple films including “Invited” and “Shoelaces”, two of her own class’s thesis films. While she has multiple credits as a sound mixer, she has also moved around to other positions and earned credits such as director, 1st assistant director, editor, and grip. She has even moved on screen to act in a few projects.  Being on set is Lisa’s favorite part of filmmaking and is happiest when she is helping a story get told. After graduating from Full Sail, Lisa plans on moving to the Los Angeles area and perusing a career in the film industry.
