For Xinyue Lu, it all started with the dream of becoming a successful movie director. Guided by such motivation, he earned a job at Beijing Television Station (BTV), after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Radio & Television Editing and Directing from Communication University of China –Nanjing in 2011, to accumulate practical experiences in the field of digital production. These three years at BTV equipped him with deeper comprehension and extensive skills for digital production, particularly relationship building and maintenance, and project management. He came to America to continue studying film, and hopes to be a professional cinematographer in the near future.
