Donovan J. Bertch

Script Supervisor

Donovan Bertch is a filmmaker from Winter Park, FL. He is a graduate of both the Florida Atlantic University Communication Studies B.A. program and the Full Sail University Film Production M.F.A. program. Donovan has had a passion for media since he was young. Whether it was watching VHS tapes on long road trips, playing video games with his family, or just reading a good book every once in a while, he devoured any kind of media he could get his hands on. Seeing all of the different tales that could be told in these different mediums inspired him to take up screenwriting and video editing in order to make some of his own. He loves to tell stories, using his screenwriting talents to create unique characters and varied worlds for them to inhabit. Over the years, Donovan has worn a number of different hats on a variety of projects. He’s been a screenwriter, an editor, a prop master, a script supervisor, a director, and even an extra once or twice. When he’s not working on productions or scripts, he shares his love of media through his work at the video gaming-centric website Bit Cultures, where he writes news and feature articles about various topics in video gaming.
