Sammie Ann Fontaine

Producer

Sammie Ann Fontaine was born Samantha Sapolis and spent the first half of her life in Kissimmee, Florida until moving to Bolton, Connecticut at age 12. She is a recent graduate having earned a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production. She developed a passion for writing at age thirteen around the time she discovered a love for crime drama and wrote her first script around age twenty. In the seven years since, Sammie has produced numerous small, independent projects and developed multiple crime drama scripts with the hope they will be produces for television in the future.

 While writing is Sammie’s passion, more recently, she has also been working on other filmmaking skills such as producing, lighting, and production design. As a hands-on filmmaker, she loves to learn as much about production as humanly possible. Sammie’s most recent credits include: Production Assistant, Special Effects/Make-Up Assistant for the award winning short film “Losing Face” (Prod. Summer 2014), Writer, Director, and actor for the short film “Maturity Not Included” (Spring 2015), Director, Producer, and Unit Production Manager for the independent documentary “Socially Correct” (October 2015), Production Designer for the short film “For Better or Worse” (January 2016), Grip for the science fiction short “Inertia” (February 2016), Producer and Production Designer for the short film “The Road Back” (February 2016), Set Design and Prop Master for the short film “Like Father, Like Son,” Unit Production Manager for the short film “Time Left,” and Producer for the Full Sail Independent Thesis Film “Shoelaces” (Summer 2016).  Her most recent credits include Producer, Unit Production Manager, and Prop Master for the web series "Age of Maturity" (2017-Present).
